I have a 20lb Boston terrier who fits perfectly in a Medium. My Frenchie fits in a Large. The vet judged him to be a bit tubby at his last checkup so he's losing a few lbs. He'll fit perfectly in his large, because of his barrel chest, even when he gets to his ideal weight. They came just in time for a cold-snap in the desert where we live. I have other sweaters that they both shimmied out when my back was turned. The new sweaters (sweatshirts, really) have fabric down the front legs rather than just holes for the legs to go through. This has so far kept my Boston from getting out of it, despite his numerous shark rolls to remove it. It's covered in leaves, grass, and dirt now; we'll see how it washes up but I expect no issues. The fabric is really nice, like a thick sweatshirt with the part around the legs knitted. I'm really pleased and would buy again.
