We’re homeschooling our children, and my 5yo mentioned he would be interested in learning about astronomy—the stars, the planets, etc. This telescope is a decent introductory kit, it’s not the strongest magnification (you’re not going to see Saturn with it), but you can see enough of the celestial bodies that it serves well as an educational tool for novice astronomers like my young son. I am pleased with the ease of use and the amount of magnification for our beginning purposes! I would recommend downloading an app that tells you where the star positions are so that you can look in the right direction!
