I like the pattern and as a bonus, the incongruence makes it easier to spot your bag. The bag is a medium size suitable for most functions. The negative space on the pattern in is more tan/khaki hued than I expected from the photos, however I think I prefer it. The zippers and velcro perform adequately to the task with no snagging or otherwise. The interior pocket fits a small to medium laptop easily. We’re at the stage where we can travel lighter with baby and don’t need to pack the whole house. So I upgraded to a boyish looking backpack to throw some necessities in. My husband loves it. It has a corduroy texture to it and plenty of storage pockets. The back is padded.

It's just a tad smaller than I expected but it's still great. My only complaint would be the Velcro strap for the laptop holder. I have a pretty slim / normal sized HP laptop, yet the velcro is hanging on by a thread. it does not reach well, causing my lap top to move around in the sleeve
